  • Do I already have to be in shape to join?
    Absolutely not! The point is never about your ability to accomplish certain tasks, i.e. run a certain mileage, lift a certain weight. Rather, the point is always about you doing the most that YOU can do. We want you to be pushed outside of your comfort zone but that zone is defined by each individual. Every single exercise can be modified, or outright substituted, to make it suitable for you. Someone who has never worked out can be in the same class as a triathlete and both people will get a great workout. All we ask is that you give it your best.


  • I am a woman and I don't want to get bulky. Will this workout do that?
    Definitely not. It truly takes a lot for men to put on any appreciable muscle and it's even harder for women. Furthermore, the combination of the nutrition plan and these workouts are designed to ignite your metabolism and turn you body into a fat burning machine. Sounds corny right? But that really is the goal. Develop and lean, athletic, healthy body.


  • What about bad weather?
    The adult camps will only be canceled for ice or lightning. We have done class in pouring down rain with smiles on our faces. No excuses is the name of the game. That attitude will transfer into your diet and other areas of your life. We like that. *We have a less stringent policy with the Youth Fitness Class and have built-in make-up days.


  • What should I bring?
    Water, towel and/or a yoga mat (for core work and stretching), a focused attitude toward achieving your goals one workout at a time.


  • It's awfully early. Should I eat before I come? I read I will burn more fat on an empty stomach.
    You must eat something, but it doesn't have to be much. A piece of fruit, a slice of toast with a thin layer of natural peanut butter or jelly will go a long way. You will not burn more fat on an empty stomach in these workouts. Your job in the camp is to work as hard as possible, because when you do you ignite you metabolism and burn fat at a higher rate for the rest of the day.


  • When will I see results?
    You will notice changes in your energy and sleep almost immediately. Weight loss results can vary greatly from person to person and is highly affect by how well one follows the nutrition plan. Going into week three is when most people begin to see results. Interestingly, (this is more for women) many people will notice a big difference in the way your clothes fit before the scale shows any huge change.


  • Can I start in the middle of a session?
    Yes you can! Although we'd like you to begin with the rest of the group, we'd rather you start now, than wait. There's no reason to put off getting in shape today!
